Ultimately I’m a voyeur. I love to observe and learn all that I can about certain people and topics from the edges and undersides of the action. But I’m also an extrovert who sometimes talks more than my fair share in groups. My interests are diverse and ever changing, currently focused on triathlon training, cooking, childrearing, reading, and writing. Born and raised in Louisiana, husband Richard and I have lived in Washington state and Virginia. For seven years I’ve made Annapolis, Maryland home. We love Annapolis for all its waterways and four definite seasons.
I begin this blog as I start a new chapter in my life. I’ve been at home with my two fantastic kids (Madeleine, 5 and Dax, 2) for about four years, working as a freelance writer as the kids’ schedules allowed. In the fall, my son will start preschool, and I’m ready to get back to work. Whether that means taking on more freelance work or becoming an employee, I’m not sure. Stay tuned…
